CONSERVATION AND REDEVELOPMENT

Location: Singapore

1991 ICI Colour Award -- Gold for Conservation Projects.

Preserving the sense of nostalgia of the old school while retaining the same charm in the new buildings by reinventing the courtyard (outdoor hall) charm.

Disciplined use of colours, using only different shades of brown, accentuates the various architectural elements such as archways and sunshade fin. An elevated
treatment further brings out the essence of the school's history.
